M&S Rosie For Autograph Product Review

Hi everyone! welcome back to another blog post, how are you all? I hope you’re doing well 🙂 for today’s post I wanted to share something which I recently got my hands on, and that’s is Rosie For Autograph make up which is exclusive to Marks & Spencer’s. Rosie-Huntington-Whiteley is an English model, actress, designer and business woman who is mostly known for her work with Victoria’s Secret.

In this collection there’s a range of products from foundation to blushers and even perfume! you really are spoiled for choice when it comes to deciding what to purchase. The price of the products ranges from £6 to £28 which in my opinion isn’t actually to bad for the quality you receive.

Before I do get into the review I want to point out that I do not have all of the collection to review but I do have some bits and pieces which I wanted to share with you, so let’s get right into it…

The first thing I picked up was the Bronzer which comes in 2 shades ‘Bronzed Beauty’ and ‘Magic Contour’ I have to admit these would not work on darker/deeper skin tones as they’re more suited for pale/medium skin. Sadly there isn’t any darker shades *that I know of* which is kind of annoying but hopefully more shades will be released in the future. The shade which I got was ‘Bronzed Beauty’ this is what the packaging looks like this

As you can see the packaging is absolutely stunning, with Rosie’s name engraved into the top part of the compact and a beautiful reflecting rose gold finish, this look’s luxurious. *please ignore all the finger prints/marks* when the compact opens, you do get a little mirror which is great for if you’re travelling or if you decide to take this with you throughout the day. The product itself is that perfect shade for pale people like myself who want to have that natural bronze look, this retails for £18 which is a little bit pricey for drugstore but the finish you get from this bronzer really is nice. I find that a little bit goes a long way so make sure to use a light hand and build the product up, that way you’re going to get a better flawless coverage.

I also love the letter R engraved into the product surrounded by the rose, such a nice product all round and definitely worth trying out.

The next thing from the collection I purchased is the ‘Insta Glow Bronzer’ yes I know you’re probably thinking ‘hang on she already bought a bronzer’ well if you’ve been reading my posts for a while and giving the name of my blog, yep you guessed it…I love a bit of shimmer/glitter. So when I saw this I just had to buy it too! I mean after all, summer is just around the corner so those glowing bronzers are getting ready to come back out. Again this gorgeous product comes in the rose gold/black packaging, and it is a little bit more pricey than the other bronzer giving us the retail price of £20

This, again, has the rose engraved into the centre of the product but the packaging is shaped like a dome and the lid is plastic unlike the previous compact I talked about.

Look at that highlight!! how gorgeous is it?! and the formula itself is super creamy, blendable and buildable what more could you want?!

Some people may look at it and think that it can’t be pulled off but honestly it gives your make up such a lovely finish. The summer days are coming up, give yourself that natural bronze look and why not add in a little bit of glow? making you look super healthy, this product is one I’m going to be reaching for all summer!

The last thing I picked up, is the Insta Lash Mascara which retails for £15 and I have to admit…I was kind of disappointed in this product. Again this comes in the rose gold packaging which is applied to everything throughout the collection but unlike the previous products this let me down, not drastically let me down but definitely didn’t live up to my expectations.

The only shade available upon purchasing this was ‘black/brown’ which I didn’t mind as sometimes this colour mascara gives you more of a natural look if you say. Anyways again I’m a huge fan of the packaging but the bristles on the wand itself was tough, I honestly felt like I was applying mascara with a sweeping brush 😦 and after a few hours the product had smudged quite a bit. I usually go for waterproof mascaras as that’s just my personal preference but thought I would give this one the benefit of the doubt.

That does bring us to the end of this post, I think the range of different products is really good as there is so much to choose from, the packaging is really luxurious and I am living for those bronzers! they are also cruelty free which is amazing!! I love how some products have the R engraved into them and roses are one of my favourite flowers and have a special meaning to myself, so I think it gives it that little bit more of a cute touch. Hopefully I get the chance to try out more things from this collection and if I do I’ll be sure to update you guys on my thoughts.
